ADMISSION SCHEDULE
 GENERAL CATEGORY
As per the schedule given by Department of Education, the registration for Pre-School session 2014-15 will be open from January 15, 2014 to January 31, 2014 on the school website http:\\www.bbpsdwarka.org. You will be required to drop the Confirmation Page to this submission in the drop box along with a Pay Order/ Demand Draft of Rs.100/- in favour of 'Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka'  from January 15, 2014 to February 1, 2014 (02:00 pm) towards processing charges (Kindly mention Ward’s name, Father’s name, Mobile No. and Registration No. on the back of Pay Order/Demand Draft). Last date of depositing the Pay Order and Confirmation Page is February 1, 2014. Your application will not be processed if it is not received by February 1, 2014 by 02:00 pm.
- School will not be responsible for the non-receipt of Confirmation sent by Post. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
- Do not submit form more than once. Submitting more than once can lead to cancellation.
- Admission will be granted subject to verification of documents. List of the provisionally shortlisted candidates alongwith a waiting list will be put up on the school notice board and website on February 28, 2014 at 03:00 p.m.
 
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION :
- The age should be between 3 and 4 years as on March 31st 2014 (or as directed by competent authority)

Allotment of seats for admission to Pre-School for the Session 2014-15 :
  • 25% seats for Economically Weaker Section and Disadvantaged Group as defined under the Right to Education Act, 2009
  • 05% seats as Staff Quota: for the wards and grand children of the staff/employees of the school. The unfilled seats of the staff quota shall spill over to open seats
  • 05% Girl's quota for co-ed schools: The seats for 5% girl's quota shall be filled through draw of lots out of all the registered girl applicants residing within 6 k.m. radius. The remaining applicants shall be considered for admission as per the parameters/criteria and points for open seats.
  • Open seats: The remaining seats which are not covered under above three categories

LIST OF SELECTED CHILDREN:
1st List and Waiting List  : 28th February, 2014
Last date for displaying the 2nd List (if any including waiting list)  : 15th March 2014
Closure of Admission process  : 31st March, 2014
 
EWS Applicants & Disadvantaged Group Applicants
Application form for applicants belonging to EWS category and Disadvantaged Group is available at the school gate or Website of DOE (http:\\wwww.edudel.nic.in) from January 15th, 2014 to January 31st, 2014 between 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on all working days of the school. Seats are reserved for Economically Weaker Section and Disadvantaged Group as per rules.
-Admission shall first be offered to eligible students belonging to EWS and Disadvantaged Group residing within 1 km of the specific school
- In case the vacancies remain unfilled, students residing within 3 kms of the school shall be admitted
- If there are still vacancies, then the admission shall be offered to other students residing within 6 kms of the institution
- Students residing beyond 6 kms shall be admitted only in case vacancies remain unfilled even after considering all the students within 6 kms area
- In case of an Orphan, a Certificate issued by the Women and Child Development Department of GNCT of Delhi
Note – In case number of applications received in any of above mentioned categories exceed the number of seats available ,in that case selection will be done by draw of lots.
 
Documents required at the time of admission for verification (For General Category)
1. Attested Photocopy of Birth Certificate of Child issued by Municipal Authority.
2. Attested Photocopy of Parent(s) Voters Identity Card / Ration Card / Passport / Electricity Bill / MTNL telephone bill /Water bill / House Tax Receipt etc.
3. Recent Coloured Passport size Photograph of the Child and Parents.
4. In case of Sibling applicants, the school Identity Card/last paid fee receipt of sibling studying in the school/Photocopy of the last Report Card.
5. Affidavit from a notary certifying that the child is first born / first adopted / first surviving.
6. Proof to validate child with special needs from a Govt. Hospital/Dispensary.
7. Proof of old student of Bal Bharati Public School, Dwarka only i.e. photocopy of class X and XII School Leaving Certificate (Parents).
Note:
- Please bring all Certificates in Original at the time of admission.
Documents required at the time of admission for verification (For EWS Category & Disadvantaged Group)
A. Date of Birth: (Submit any one)
1. Birth Certificate under the Births, Deaths and Marriage Certification Act, 1986
2. Hospital / Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife (ANM) register record
3. Anganwadi Record
4. Declaration of the age of the child by the parent or guardian.
B. Residence Proof: (Submit any one)
1 Ration card issued in the name of parents (mother/father having name of the child).
2. Domicile certificate of child or of his/her parents.
3. Voter I-card of any of the parents.
4. Electricity bill/ MTNL telephone bill / Water bill.
5. Unique Identity Card of mother/father/child issued by Government of India.
6. Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.
C. Income Certificate: (Submit any one)
1 Income certificate issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.
2. BPL Ration Card (Yellow Coloured).
3. AAY Ration Card (Pink Coloured).
D. Proof of Disadvantaged Group: (Submit any one)
1 A Certificate issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar or any other Competent Authority.
2. Caste Certificate issued by DC Office.
3. Medical Certificate from Govt. Hospital, in case of children with special needs/ disabilities..
8. A Certificate issued in accordance with instruction issued by the Department of Women and Child Development, GNCT of Delhi, vide order dated 11.12.12 in case of Orphan Child
