Organ Donation Day was celebrated to raise awareness about the sensitive issue of organ donation. Dr Shagun from Centre for Sight, shared the scientific process of eye donation. Students appreciated the message in a movie on organ donation and pledged to raise awareness about it.


To create awareness about responsible disposal of harmful chemicals practical session were conducted to clean a chemical spill. They discussed the clean–up protocol and designed citizen charter for safe disposal of chemicals.

Gratitude Day

Students designed beautiful cards for their parents to express their gratitude and love.

Vasant Panchami

Saraswati Puja organized on Vasant Panchami was celebrated with great devotion and passion. Classical dance presentation and speeches added sparkle to the occasion.

Matdata Mahotsav

The school participated in Matdata Mahotsav initiated by CBSE to educate youngsters about Right to Vote. A special assembly was conducted to educate students about rights and responsibilities of citizens in a democratic set up. Display boards conveyed well illustrated messages about Right to Vote.

Patriotic Pallete Day

On Republic Day, Montessori children displayed patriotic colours on balloons, kites, flags and tri-colour sandwiches.

Republic Day

Patriotic Hindi song, a skit on the ‘Making of the constitution’ and a colourful presentation on ‘Unity in Diversity’ added luster to the Republic Day Celebration.

Health Food Fun Day

Students prepared Corn Salad and shared it with their friends during health food fun session.

Lohri & Makar Sankranti

During a special Lohri & Makar Sankranti assembly children presented traditional lohri songs and dance.

Odd-Even Car Day

School volunteers were seen on road to monitor the implementation of Odd-Even Car Day scheme launched by Delhi Govt. They displayed slogans and encouraged people to voluntarily participate to bring down the level of pollution.

Christmas & New Year

During a special assembly on Christmas, a skit depicting the birth of Jesus Christ and dance presentations “Joy to the world”, “Jingle Bells” and “Happy New Year” enthralled all. A train of mini Santas added to the joy and fervor.

Children’s Day

Marie Curie Day

Marie Curie day was celebrated on July 13, 2015 to revive the magic of chemistry. The day was packed with scientific adventures such as “Magic-O-Mystery”(performing magic trick based on principle of chemistry), Newsletter Publication: “Journey of Noble Laureate-Marie Curie”, Peer Teaching on the topic “Radiation and Cancer”, Group Discussion on “Emergence of Teleradiology”.

Jumping Genes Day

Jumping Genes Day was organized on 20 July, 2015 to acquaint students with miracles of molecular Biology. Students were engaged in paper presentation-”Knowing How They Jump!” and Display board designing to depict “Journey from Genes to Jumping Genes”.

Climate Leadership

A climate leadership initiative was launched on Earth Day where our young environmentalists sensitized 10000 people through a signature campaign and motivated them to make efforts to conserve our natural resources and make green choices. Students painted cloth bags/paper bags with Environmental Awareness Messages on them which were distributed in the school/nearby stores and supermarkets.

Environment Day

To mark the Environment day, our Eco Champs participated in activities like Let’s Clean the Campus, Planting a hope, debate on Sustainable resources, Pollution Quiz and its effects, Creative Writing on Wastes can be Precious and Role play on Five Elements of nature.

Community Outreach Day

On the occasion of ‘Community Outreach Day’ Interact club members visited the ‘Disha- School for children with special needs’ in Janak Puri and conducted art and origami workshop for Autistic Children. They also distributed shoes sponsored by Rotary club of Delhi.

Navy Day

Naval officers interacted with students of class XII and shared information about the Indian Navy to motivate students to take up a career with Indian Forces. A short film on various facets of naval life was followed by an interactive session with the students.

Technology Club Day

Technology Club Day witnessed enthused participation of techno enthusiasts in various competitions like “Website Designing, Gaming Challenge and Assembling a Computer” which provided an exciting platform to collaborate and co create new designs and challenges.

Tongue Ticklers Day

On the occasion of ‘Tongue Ticklers Day’, students decorated special recipes and exhibited newly learnt dining etiquettes.

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was celebrated on 31st October 2014 as Rashtrya Ekta Diwas in the school.
A quiz was conducted to revive memories of Sardar Patel.

Students showered their teachers with reverence and affection through Creative Writing, Card Making, Bookmark Designing and Poem Recitation on Teachers’ Day. A Special assembly MY teacher : My Mentor was organised to elucidate the role of a teacher through a skit.

Maakhan ki Matki

Young Bal Bharatians decorated clay pot ‘Maakhan Ki Matki’ and sang songs on 19th August, 2014 to celebrate Janmashtmi.

ECO Buddy celebrations

During ECO Buddy celebrations held on April 16, 2014, children participated in poster making and slogan writing on Pollution.

Amazing Science Every Day

Students were engaged in hands on science related activities to explore basic concepts of nature, in a workshop organized in collaboration with ZLIFE EDUCATION.

World Vegetarian Day

During ‘World Vegetarian Day’ was organised on November 22, 2013, our tiny tots made creative headgears of vegetables and fruits. They enjoyed green vegetable delicacies in their lunch time and a foot tapping dance on a vegetable rhyme. They learnt a lot about different vegetables through PowerPoint Presentation.

Children’s Day

On Children’s Day, children were made to feel special by giving ‘you are special’ stars. The movies show ‘Krishna’s Conquest’ and ‘Hanuman’s Adventures’ brought ear to ear smiles on the blooming faces of the children. The day ended on a sweet note when children relished their favourite chocolate toffees.

Hatters Day

On Hatters Day, children created innovative and colourful hats of countries from all over the world like Japan, UK, USA and China.

Kiwi Day

Kiwi Day was celebrated to spread the awareness of eating fruits. Students enjoyed creating Kiwi characters, cutting funny Kiwi shapes and answering questions in Kiwi quiz.

Maria Montessori Day

Maria Montessori Day celebrated on 28th August, 2014 included a commemorative assembly to laud her contribution to education system, activities like five super senses at work, Sand and Water play.

Uttrakhand Clarion Call

A board making competition on Floods in Uttarakhand was organized for students of class IX in order to generate awareness about various causes and effects of the disaster.

Mothers Day

On Mother’s Day our tiny tots enjoyed activities as Movie time-Disney Mother’s Love, Card Making and a memento designing for their mothers.

Home Coming Day

Home Coming special assembly was organised to welcome back students after summer vacation. A chirpy puppet presentation and zestful dance stole the show.

Rainbow Day

Students of class V celebrated Rainbow Day on May 15, 2013. They had fun maneuvering rainbow parachute and crossing hurdles and ladders. Colourful artifacts were created out of junk and discarded items. Students displayed mental agility in ‘Water Quiz’ which was followed by a highly invigourating dance performance.

Eco Friendly Day

Eco Friendly Day was organised on May 16, 2013 for class-IV to make children understand the usefulness of trees and natural environment. A fun filled physical activity using colourful parachutes and maneuvering in the maze kept everyone alert and eager to win. Children talked about the importance of growing and planting trees. A PowerPoint presentation on ‘Saving Environment’ was followed by a quiz. The day ended with Community Lunch and Dance party.

Chhota Bheem Day

To pulsate the unbridled laughter, zeal and enthusiasm among young Bal Bharatians, ‘Chhota Bheem Day’ was organised on May 15, 2013 for class-III which included activities like‘Movie Time’, ‘Laddoo Making’, ‘Catch me if you can’ and ‘An Arty Dip’.

Tree Day

Tree Day was organised on April 18, 2013 where the importance of plants and animals was reiterated. Children dressed up as jute bags spoke about avoiding the use of plastic bags and highlighted their harmful effects. A rhyme recitation ‘Trees are my friends’ was followed by sapling plantation.

Laughter Day

To encourage friendship and sharing a good laugh, World Laughter Day was celebrated on May 2, 2013. ‘Laughter Song’ and laughing exercises made children laugh and dance merrily.

Labour Day

"It is labour indeed that puts the difference on everything"
To make our tiny tots understand the dignity of labour and to inculcate the value of respecting every profession, a special assembly on Labour Day was conducted on April 30, 2015 in which children of Mont II-D participated enthusiastically. It begins with the Rhyme about 'Say no to child labour', which was followed by a dance presentation "Mazdoor ke maathe par mehnat ka paseena hai....." To make this ocassion special for all the helpers, games like, Musical chair/Finish the water was played which was thoroughly enjoyed by everybody. Finally, the programme ended with the distribution of thanks giving cards and chocolates as a token of gratitude to our most important members of community.

Earth Day

During Earth Day, organised on April 23 & 24, 2014. Children learnt about the importance of recycling, planting more trees and saving water, electricity. The children pledged that they could make everyday ‘Earth Day’ as each initiative matters.


‘Fun-O-Mania’ was organised for classes I-V on February 4, 2013. The day began with an exhilarating Band performance which was followed by Horse Riding, Taekwondo and Yoga training session. The highlights were colourful races such as Cartoon Race, Sack Race, Caterpillar Traverse Race, Potato In The Basket Race and Unity In Diversity Race.

Milk-O-Manoia Day

In a conscious endeavour to instill healthy habit of drinking milk, ‘Milk-O-Mania Day’ was organised for Montessori children on October 3, 2013. Children were told about the importance of milk, its sources and benefits. A PowerPoint Presentation of milk its health benefits and enjoyed Lassi, flavoured milk and lunch.

Mangolicious Day

Healthy habits when infused from early years play a vital role in holistic development. ‘Mangolicious Day’ was organised on April 26, 2013. Students enjoyed Mangolicious – Kitchenette activity where our tiny tots prepared a refreshing mango concoction and enjoyed making puppets with dried mango seeds.
